Candle Care

To get the best performance out of your Kandle Co candle follow these simple steps:

Always trim the wick to 1/4 inch before lighting. Mushrooming (where the burnt end of the wick curls over) is a natural characteristic of this type of wick. Removing the mushroom from the top of the wick will help prevent it smoking.

To help prevent tunnelling (when the candle burns straight down the centre and not out to the edges) allow enough time for the wax to melt to the edge of the glass on the first lighting. If you extinguish the flame before it reaches the sides then it is highly likely that all subsequent melt pools will not go past the first one.

Keep your candle out of direct sunlight and away from as certain fragranced candles may discolour.

Other information:

Frosting and wet spots (areas where the wax hasn't adhered to the glass) are common with most candles and neither will affect this candle's performance in any way.

The vintage range consists of up cycled glassware and china. Some imperfections should be expected.

Please keep in mind that Kandle Co candles are all handmade, therefore no two candles will look the same.
